At our Phood Farm Picking Garden, we grow hyper-local vegetables in the heart of Eindhoven, on the Rielse Erven. Together with a diverse group of like-minded co-farmers of all ages and backgrounds, we work regeneratively according to permaculture principles.
Our enthusiastic farmleads Aafke and Pascale share their knowledge in a hands-on way and let you experience the joy of working with nature. During your tasting day you will pick your own vegetables, herbs, (edible) flowers and fruits in our Picking Garden!
Our picking garden is natural, regenerative, grown without the use of pesticide and fertilizers and with a focus on caring for both people and nature.

Helping out in the fields?
The co-farming days are on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 09:30 to 12:30 when you also help out. Together with Aafke (permaculture specialist), Pascale and other Community Farmers you will explore the Phood Farm Picking Garden and learn about permaculture. If you just want a taste of harvesting, you may stop by at 12:30 for your harvesting experience.
Pick your own vegetables and herbs.
Aafke and Pascale will explain around 12:30 about what you can harvest and how to do it. Then you get to pick your own vegetables, herbs, edible flowers and fruits! The harvest varies with the seasons, so in summer there is more to pick than in winter.
Discounts in the Phood Farm Shop.
During the days you visit to farm and/or harvest with us, you will receive 25% off indoor farm products in the Phood Farm Shop, such as mushrooms, microgreens, kombucha and oils.
- Picking/harvesting yourself: By harvesting your own vegetables, fruits, flowers and herbs, you will experience a new connection with your food. Weekly videos are created showing you how to harvest each vegetable and where to find them. In addition, a weekly list is shared of available vegetables, including quantities and weights.
- Freshness guaranteed: You harvest your vegetables straight from the land, right when you need them. You can’t get any fresher!
- Connected to nature: You actively experience the seasons. From the first spring flowers to the harvest of autumn, you see what grows and what doesn’t during the year.
- A strong community: By possibly working with like-minded people in the picking garden, we strengthen social bonds and work together to create a healthy, local food supply. Together, we make the harvest richer and the experience more meaningful.
For €95, enjoy 5 mornings of gardening fun and/or pick that week’s seasonal harvest for yourself. The Picking Garden Flex Card is for 1 person and valid for 1 year. Will you be gardening and/or picking with more than one person? Then order a Pluktuin flex card for two or more people.

- Professional meeboer guidance.
- One serving of (self-)picked vegetables, herbs, (edible) flowers, and fruits from that week. In the months of April-May the land harvest is minimal, then products are supplemented for the amount from our urban farm: shiitake, microgreens or lettuce.

In our Indoor Phood Farm and Phood Farm Picking Garden we work with young people with a distance to the labor market. For this we work together with Futuris, Gemeente Eindhoven, UWV and we have our own Phood Care program where we focus on ‘inner gardening’ (your personal growth at your pace).
